Russian pianist living in France since 2013, Olga Kirpicheva stands out for her unique artistic personality. Passionately attached to Russian and French repertoires, she is a benchmark performer of these two musical schools. Olga began studying piano and flute at the age of 5, and her international career at the age of 11, during the Colmar International Festival of Vladimir Spivakov. Olga is the winner of numerous international competitions, such as the Concertino Praga International Radio Competition, Czech Republic (First Prize), Palma D’oro Concorso, Italy (Second Prize), the Piano Campus Competition, France (Denis Antoine Prize of the AVC Foundation Charity), the 6th International Joseph Haydn Competition in Vienna (Second Prize), the 7th Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition, Australia (Second Prize).
Soloist and chamber musician in demand worldwide, Olga Kirpicheva performs in prestigious venues such as La Grande Salle Pierre Boulez at the Philharmonie de Paris, Auditorium du Louvre, Salle Gaveau, Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris, La Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Flagey Hall in Brussels, the Melbourne Recital Center, Haydn Hall in Vienna in Austria, the Rudolfinum Hall in Prague, sala Pereda, sala Argenta (Santander, Spain). She also participates in the festivals of La Roque d’Anthéron, Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, the Festival de l’Orangerie de Sceaux, the Festival Ravel in Monfort l’Amaury, or even Les Folles Journées de Nantes in the region, festival of La Chapelle Musical Reine Elisabeth in Flagey, Brussels.
Chamber music is also very present in his artistic life. With Vera Lopatina (violin) and Adrien Bellom (cello), Olga founded the Medici trio. Laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation and artist in residence at the Singer Polignac Foundation, the Medici trio improved their skills with Miguel Da Silva and the Artemis Quartet at La Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth, and followed the Master Classes from the Ebène Quartet, the Wanderer Trio, Claire Desert …
Olga also performs in a duo with Belgian violinist Nicolas Dupont, with Trio d’Ulysse and regularly has the pleasure of sharing the stage with great performers such as Miguel da Silva, Marc Coppey, Maxim Rubtsov, or Nicolas Dautricourt.
Trained at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow by Elisso Virsaladze, she arrived in France in 2013, and joined the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris in the class of Itamar Golan. In the same year, she performed under the direction of Vladimir Spivakov with the Moscow Virtuosos Orchestra. She has participated in many Master Classes, such as the Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes (Israel), Académie Ravel (France), Encuentra de Musica y Accademia de Santander (Spain) or the Hvide Sande Master Classes (Denmark).
During these different experiences, she was trained by great musicians such as Vladimir Krainev, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Jean-François Heisser, Michel Beroff, Jacques Rouvier, Emmanuel Krasovski, Miguel Da Silva, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Dimitri Bashkirov, José Ribera, Claudio Martinez Mehner, or Itamar Golan.
Olga Kirpicheva cultivates a varied repertoire that covers most of the classical, romantic and modern composers, without forgetting the contemporary music of Bruno Mantovani, Philippe Hersant, Thierry Escaich, Gilbert Amy, Jean-Frédéric Neuburger and Wilfried Westerlinck.
